I love Ted Talks.
They’re short 10- to 20-minute video clips of talks on interesting things.
The other day I came across this one with social psychologist Amy Cuddy…
She talks about changing your body language to accomplish goals and take risks.
“Fake it till you make it” is an expression I’m sure you’ve heard before. But Amy argues you should actually “fake it until you become it”…
If you’re interested at all in getting paid to travel and you’re struggling simply with getting started, maybe a simple two-minute power pose like the five she suggests in the video are all you need to give you that confidence to move forward.
Here’s to all that you become in 2014 (and here’s Amy’s Ted Talk again).
