It’s time for our last Breakfast Stock Club quarterly goal check-in for 2016!
If you don’t like making goals because they’re boring and you might not follow through, consider this: “Goals” can be about anything!
Maybe you want more fun in your life in 2017. Make that your goal. Maybe you’d like to meet new people or try new recipes, travel somewhere new or revisit an old haunt.
Whatever it is you want to do… no matter how light and fun… numerous studies show that making it a goal and writing it down will make it more likely to happen.
Now let’s look back at the past year for a sec…
How’d you do with your stock photography in 2016? Did you make new sales? What’s your favorite agency? What are your goals for 2017?
Fill out this quick Breakfast Stock Club reader survey and I’ll share the results in a couple of weeks!
While I achieved two of my three goals for 2016 (weather got in the way of climbing Mt. Baker), my focus is changing a bit for the coming year.
In 2017, I’d like to build up a portfolio on Alamy (a different kind of stock site that I’ll share with you as I go) and I’d like to get published in a few travel magazines.
Here we go into a new year, with new possibilities and new surprises to come. Come with me and let’s make it into exactly the year we want.
[Editor’s Note: Learn more about getting started selling your photos online in stock agencies – no matter how much or little photography experience you have – in the Breakfast Stock Club e-newsletter. It’s once a week, and it’s free to join, here.]
