Want to start selling your photos as stock? Read this!
“Do one thing every day that scares you,” they say.
Honestly? I’m tired of this cliché.
I mean, I get it. And I whole-heartedly believe that the best parts of life come from *doing* rather than letting fear dictate our actions and putting off going for what we want.
I’d like to propose one of these, instead:
Do one thing every day that thrills you.
Do one thing every day that makes you laugh.
Do one thing every day that makes you proud.
Do one thing every day that brings joy into your life.
Do one thing every day that allows you to feel happy.
And here’s a novel idea: Maybe that thing you want to do doesn’t have to be scary.
Like sending your photos to a stock agency. Maybe it only feels scary because you *think* of it that way.
In reality, it’s easy. It goes like this:
Sign up to be a member at a stock agency.
Read the agency guidelines.
Pick out some of your favorite shots that fit the guidelines.
Sign in, upload some photos, add keywords, and hit “submit.”
You could get all of the above done in the next 20 minutes. Boom. Done.
Yep, your photos could be denied by an agency. It happens all the time. So pick some new ones and do it again.
This is not scary. But when you do it, you will get a thrill out of your day. And probably a big smile, too.
